Booking
DUI arrests are booked at the Graham County Adult Detention Facility, 600 W. Graham Canal Road in Safford. Booking phone is 928-428-2455; the Sheriff's administrative line is 928-428-3141. The Sheriff's fee schedule charges $5 for a booking sheet, $0.25 per page for the full booking file, and $5 for a mugshot copy.
Posting Bond
For DUI, bond typically runs $500 to $2,500 for a standard misdemeanor, more for extreme or aggravated charges, set according to the county's traffic bond schedule. If a bond is marked "cash only," the facility will accept money orders but not cash directly, which can be a real problem after banking hours when large-denomination money orders are hard to get quickly.
If you use a bail bond agent and put up property as collateral, know that's a private civil contract between you and the agent. The court itself only ever demands the cash value of a forfeited bond; it doesn't seize and sell the property. Any liquidation of collateral is between you and the bondsman.
Visitation
Physical visits have largely been replaced by video, through "The Visitor" system for on-site kiosks and the ICS Mobile app for remote visits from home (a paid service). All visits, on-site or remote, must be scheduled 24 hours ahead. No inmate movement happens between 7:00 and 8:00 AM during shift change and mandatory counts, so avoid trying to schedule around that window.
One exception worth knowing: if you're traveling more than 100 miles to visit, the jail sometimes allows a full hour instead of the standard 30 minutes. It's treated as a courtesy rather than a right, so call ahead and coordinate with jail staff rather than assuming it will be granted automatically.
